Karpathos Airport is the only airport on this island, it is a small Airport, but between the months of April to October more than 16 airline companies fly every day from and to Karpathos.

Karpathos is located about 29 miles south west of the more popular island Rhodes.

Karpathos island has two ports the main port is situated in the city of Karpathos which is in the south east of the island. In the north of the Island next to Olympos there is the port of Diafani.

Within the island, cars are the preferred mode of transportation, as public transport is very limited. At the airport you can find international and local car rental companies.

I used a Panda car, a model I use also at home. It is small and quick, and it worked very well on the narrow streets of Karpathos island.
