Santorini Island is the most famous and largest Island of the Cyclades in the Eagean Sea.

Santorini is a Volcanic Island. From April to October it is warm and dry and from November to March cold and rainy.

Santorini Airport is one of the few larger Airports of the Cyclades Islands, the airport is situated just 6 KM from Thera Downtown. From April to October many charter flight arrive at Santorini, like Ryan Air, Olympic Air and Athens Airways.

Santorini has two ports, Athinios the Ferry Port and Skala this it the old port of Santorini. Cruise ships arrive mostly at Skala port.

Although Santorini offers Bus services, to discover this beautiful volcanic Island we recommend you to hire a car as bus services are very limited.

At the airport and port you can find many cheap car rental companies.
